Tinubu's TVC Sacks 145 Workers

News report reaching Nigeria Politics Online confirms that Media giant, Television Continental (TVC) might have relieved 145 workers from its workforce.
It was gathered that reporters of the company located in various States in Nigeria all arrived the headquarters situated at Magodo area of Lagos yesterday, June 1st.


According to the CEO, the mass retrench of workers became imperative because the stations are not commercially viable.

The management might have sacked 145 staff of the media house.

There are indications also that TVC Africa has been rested for inability to break even, financially.

This, it was learnt, was the outcome of Friday’s town hall meeting with the Chief Exevutive Officer.

He said TVC Nigeria and Radio are not making enough money to cater for TVC Africa.


Both the TV and radio stations are owned by former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
