Killer who murdered boy, 14, for giving 'dirty look' turns imstagram celeb from prison

Vicious Joseph Chin who fatally stabbed 14-year-old Martin Dinnegan has bragged about being “back on social media” and posting images of himself apparently smoking drugs
A boy's murderer is taunting jail bosses by posting videos about taking drugs and having a phone behind bars.
Vicious Joseph Chin who fatally stabbed 14-year-old Martin Dinnegan has bragged about being “back on social media” and posting images of himself apparently smoking drugs.
Chin, now 26, risks adding two years to his life sentence for illegally having and using a mobile in prison.
He was jailed in 2008 for killing Martin for giving his gang “dirty looks”.
Two years ago he used a smuggled-in phone to set up a profile from his cell on dating website PlentyOfFish.
The site was deleted but he is now on Instagram. One video uploaded, apparently on January 12 this year, shows him dancing and rapping to music along with the words “Happy Birthday”.

In another, under the Instagram username “kiingxchin”, he shows off a new haircut and writes “not many n***** dun as long as me n still look like dey come jail da uva day”.
One clip, entitled “boasting about phones”, shows him with other inmates holding a phone.
He has also pictured himself smoking next to the words “wakeandbake” – a reference to getting high on drugs.
Chin is believed to have made the films in category C Highpoint jail in Suffolk, which is facing a growing problem with mobile phones.
Between November 2014 and October 2015 it confiscated 88 phones, a year later it was 143 and 192 in 2016-17.
Chin was 16 when he fatally stabbed Martin after a chase in North London.

Martin was singled out after two groups exchanged “dirty looks”, a court later heard.
Martin fell to the ground while being chased by a gang of youths and was stabbed four times in the back by Chin.
Judge Brian Barker at the Old Bailey told the defendant: “This was a vengeful attack out of all proportion to what may have gone before and no mercy was shown to the victim.
"It’s a tragedy this sort of triviality caused such a young man to lose his life which has caused enduring heartache to his friends and family.”
Chin was given a minimum 12-year sentence, making him eligible for parole in 2020.

At the time of the PlentyOfFish incident Martin’s mum Lorraine, 51, said: “How is he supposed to repent if he is on dating sites?
“It’s hurtful he enjoys luxuries when prison is supposed to be a punishment.”

Chin’s Instagram appears to have been deleted in recent days. He may face an investigation after breaking strict rules.
A Prison Service spokesman said: “This behaviour is completely unacceptable and this content has been removed from social media.
“Anyone caught breaking prison rules will face tough punishments, including extra time behind bars.”
